An on going project to create a warm and familiar family home. Responding to the clients brief to maximise family space and open up the ground floor but maintain functionality and versatility, we are extending the lower ground floor of the 6 bedroom house to create a light and open kitchen and dining room which connects to the kids playroom behind sliding doors which can be shut away when required. In the heart of the building we have centralised all of the functional rooms of the house - the pantry, laundry, coat storage, and guest loo to maximise the space available for the family to live.
Elsewhere in the house we have reconfigured walls and rooms to make a well proportioned master suite, study, family bathroom, and kids rooms and bathroom with new roof-lights, and modern dormer extension.
